Do you offer free Wi-Fi?

Yes, our resort has free Wi-Fi. We provide a standard speed connection that’s perfect for checking emails and light web surfing.

Is there stuff for kids to do at the resort?

We have lots of activities for kids on property including: ping pong, corn hole, pool tic-tac-toe, pool basketball, chalk, and board games. Scheduled activities start on June 6th, we're still working on the weekly calendar for those events but here are a few: 'Music by the Fire': live music with create your own designer s'mores, 'Sunland Cactus Challenge': race against another family or team to fill up our poolside cactus while trying to plug the many holes throughout the cactus, 'Cupcake Craze': decorate a giant cupcake, create a company logo and cake box, act out a hilarious one minute tv commercial, 'Great Big World of Games': enjoy your favorite games but this time, they’re giant sized! Jenga, Chess, Checkers, Connect four.

What rates do you offer?

Our rates vary based on how long your stay is, what size site you need, what amenities you want and where you want to stay in the resort. For stays of less than 31 days, you can check rates and book here. For our extended stay rates, please call us at 877-717-6667.

Do you have full hookups?

Each RV space has water, sewer, cable TV, and 30/50 amp electric. All stays 14 nights and longer are subject to metered electric charges.

Do you have pull through spaces? Can you accommodate a 45-foot RV?

Yes, we have a limited number of popular pull-through sites.Due to the high demand for these spaces, we do not offer these sites for extended stay reservations. However, we have many other large sites that we can offer our extended stay visitors with larger RVs.

How close are you to San Diego attractions?

You can get to most major San Diego attractions and beaches within 15 minutes. Our RV resort is right off the freeway. We also have direct access to the San Diego Trolley. Simply walk out of our RV resort and turn right to find the trolley. It can take you to many of San Diego’s top attractions. Learn more about the San Diego Trolley here.

How close are you to shopping and dining options?

There are several major restaurants within one mile of the resort. There are also grocery stores and large retailers like Costco and Walmart within two miles. You can also hop on the trolley and visit one of the malls in Mission Valley, including the very popular Fashion Valley Mall, which is only 15 minutes away.

Do you allow RV groups?

Unfortunately we are not accepting RV groups at this time. Please view our sister RV parks Circle RV Resort, Oak Creek RV Resort and Vacationer RV Park for group bookings.

Are you pet friendly?

Every Sunland RV Resort is pet friendly. We supply pet waste bags and have several nice walking areas for your pet. We limit each site to two pets and do not allow any aggressive breeds. For specific pet restrictions, contact our office at 877-717-6667.

Do you have a pool?

Yes, our resort offers both a temperature-controlled outdoor pool and a spa for your year-round enjoyment. The pool area is enclosed and features privacy landscaping, shade umbrellas, and lounges.

Do you sell propane?

Yes, we offer propane delivery through a third-party vendor.

When is check in and check out?

Check-in is 1 p.m. Check-out is 12 noon. Early arrivals and late departures (if available) may be subject to a small fee.

Do you have restrictions on the type of RVs you accept?

Yes, we do. All RVs must be self-contained and are subject to an exterior inspection upon arrival. Each RV must be clean and rust free with no broken windows. If an RV is motor-powered, it must be in good running condition. Tarps on roofs and other modifications are strictly prohibited. The resort has a complete list of rules and regulations on file for your review. Additionally, we do not offer tent camping.

Can I make a campfire?

Unfortunately no. Local city ordinance will not allow this for safety reasons because of the RVs and propane gas in the vicinity. However, you are welcome to barbecue.

Are you a membership resort? Do you have a limit on length of stay?

No, we are a non-membership and non-ownership RV resort. We offer daily, weekly, and extended stay rates. We have a 6-month extended stay limit. Please ask the front desk for seasonal stays.

Do you have discount offers?

We offer 10% discounts off of our daily rate for Good Sam and Active duty military. A valid ID card must be presented at check-in to obtain these discounts. Offers may not be combined and do not apply to any other discounted rates.

Can I reserve a specific site if I want?

If you are looking to book a certain site on our property, please call the front desk to find out what we can offer. We cannot guarantee availability.

Do you have a laundry facility?

Yes. We have two recently remodeled on-site laundry facilities. The machines are card operated.

Do you offer RV storage?

We have a very limited number of storage spaces available. Additional RV storage can be found at our nearby sister resorts.

How do I get to your resort?

From Westbound I-8: Take Exit #11 (70th St. and Lake Murray Blvd.). Turn left at stop sign, and then make a left at Lake Murray Blvd. At Alvarado Rd. take another left, cross trolley tracks (veer left), and the RV resort will be one mile down on right. From Eastbound I-8: Take Exit #11 (70th St. and Lake Murray Blvd.) Stay in left lane, and at the top of the off-ramp, make a left on Alvarado Rd. Cross the trolley tracks (veer left), and the RV resort will be one mile down on right.

Do you have RV rentals?

Unfortunately no. However, we recommend several local rental companies including Cruise America – (800) 671-8042 and El Monte RV – (619) 449-1513

What is your cancellation and change policy?

Deposit:

Nightly:

Arrival more than 3 days: 1 night + tax
Arrival within 3 days or less: 100% of stay

Weekly:

Arrival more than 7 days: 25% of stay
Arrival 7 days or less: 100% of stay

Monthly: $600 deposit

Cancellation:

Nightly: 100% of the deposit will be charged as a fee when cancelled 3 days prior to arrival (after 12PM)
Weekly: 100% of the deposit will be charged as a fee when cancelled within 7 days prior to arrival (after 12PM)
Monthly: 100% of the deposit will be charged as a fee when cancelled within 14 days prior to arrival (after 12PM)

Change Requests:

Nightly & Weekly: If changed/modified within 3 days of arrival (after 12PM), a fee equal to the guest’s first night will apply
Monthly: If changed/modified within 7 days of arrival (after 12PM), a fee equal to 50% of the deposit will apply
