The very best that the city has to offer is literally steps away at San Diego RV Resort.
As the only RV resort with immediate access to the San Diego MTS Trolley, the very best that the city has to offer is literally steps away at San Diego RV Resort.
Known as San Diego’s “moving landmark,” the trolley system services 53 stations; spans 53.5 miles over four lines (blue, orange, green, and the limited run silver lines); and provides riders a safe and reliable means of reaching countless dining, shopping, recreational, and entertainment destinations.
Jump on the green line and instantly be transported from 12th and Imperial to Santee with stops at such areas and attractions as Seaport Village, Little Italy, historic Old Town, and Qualcomm Stadium, among others. With the blue line, you can travel all the way from downtown’s America Plaza through National City, Chula Vista, and Imperial Beach before reaching San Ysidro near the Tijuana border.
Finally, the orange line traverses San Diego – from Santa Fe Depot through Lemon Grove and La Mesa to El Cajon – while the silver line loops through downtown on select weekdays, weekends, and holidays. The San Diego Trolley also connects with the Coaster Train at the Santa Fe Depot and Old Town Transit Center, which gives you easy access to North County San Diego and the coastal communities.
Together these lines offer something for everyone while eliminating the hassles of city traffic and parking. For foodies, it’s the ability to reach literally thousands of casual and fine dining options spread throughout the city in a safe and convenient manner. For sports fans, its ability to attend Chargers, Aztec, and/or Padres games by simply jumping on a trolley bound for Qualcomm or Petco Park via the resort’s private gate. For attendees of the immensely popular “Comic-Con International: San Diego” and countless other trade shows and conventions, the San Diego Convention Center is only a short ride away. The possibilities are truly limitless and you can find even more great ideas here.
Equally worth mentioning is the savings in gas and parking fees as one-way trolley passes are only $2.50; day passes can be purchased for $7.00 ($5.00 + $2.00 Compass Card Fee).
So regardless of where you want to go and what you want to see, it’s all within easy reach at San Diego RV Resort! For more on the trolley system, be sure to visit our dedicated page here.
