Mission Trails Regional Park & lake murray

Located a little over a mile north of the resort,

Mission Trails Regional Park is a great way to see the natural beauty of San Diego. At over 7,000 acres, this is one of the largest urban parks in the country and offers amazing views of native flora and fauna from is vast network of trails. Whether you want to go for a jog or do some bird watching, it’s all available only minutes from the resort.

Lake Murray, located within the Mission Trails Regional Park, offers fishing, boating, hiking, and many barbecue pits. Small boat and kayak rentals are available as well. The reservoir is stocked with Florida-strain largemouth bass, bluegill, channel catfish, black crappie and trout. Enjoy your catch on the barbecues along the lake for an unbeatable family picnic.
