Balboa Park

The historic Balboa Park 

is a 1,200-acre park on the outskirts of downtown SanDiego. Home to the world-famous San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park also houses the San Diego Natural History Museum, Old Globe Theater, Balboa Park Carousel and more.

Entry to Balboa Park in San Diego is free, while fees may apply to various attractions. The Explorer Pass was recently introduced to make exploration easier and offers a solution that makes it a popular Balboa Park pass among visitors. One-day passes are available that give you access to 5museums and you can also purchase an annual pass. Parking at Balboa Park is available, but at peak times can be difficult to find. The park is easily accessible by Trolley to avoid the headache of trying to park.
